Mr. Poirier graduated from Carleton University in 1988 with a Bachelor in Public Administration, and from Dalhousie
University Law School in 1991.
He has served as the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association (N.B.) Business Law Subsection for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, and has been an occasional instructor in Commercial Law at Mount Allison University.
Mr. Poirier is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association.
